Which one should I use?

I just received an alienware 17 laptop from my uncle. Should I use this laptop or my current pc?

Current PC:
GTX 670
8gb ram
i5-2400

Laptop:
i7-4800mq
gtx 780m
16gb ram

The desktop GPU is nearly 50% more powerful than a 780m according to passmark, but the 4800mq is much more powerful than a 2400, again, according to passmark.

Those are synthetic bench tests though, so I would just try gaming on both if that's the intended use, to see for yourself.
