Which one to choose

So my specs finally after a lot of deciding are

Ryzen 5 1600

Gigabyte b450 motherboard aorus elite

Now for the ram the problem is I can’t find any 2x4 rams of 3000mhz at the moment (I guess not in the future too) so what my query is can I go with 2400mhz 2x4 ram sticks.....will there be a lot of difference in speed....basically I just want to game watch movies and few chrome tabs that’s all no editing no streaming so yea, help me out

Or a 3000mhz one 8gb stick is enough ? (Later I will buy another)

Dual channel is always better.

There will be a hit on performance because Ryzen works with 3000Mhz at least the best, but if 2400 is the only option you have, you are okay.

I’m getting 3000mhz but only one stick but 2x4 and 2400mhz I have a lot of options....if I’m seeing a loss .....how big is it ? ....60fps against 40fps that big or just a minor difference

Single channel is a no go. Even if you get one stick now, and get another in the future, there are always potential problems caused by mixing sticks. So it is always better to buy in kits.

It will be hard to judge as performance varies from game. But most likely a 10 to 12 FPS hit.

By kit can I buy 2 2400mhz rams to make it dual channel or I have to buy those one that say kit can I just buy two sticks and make it dual channel

2x4 2400mhz - $88.88 ( here I will buy two stick not a kit )
2x4 3000mhz - $111.75 ( it is a kit as I can seen in the pictures they are saying kit

2400 brand is Corsair lpx vegeance
3000mhz is Kingston hyperx savage 8gb

You can try buying 2 individual identical sticks but the chances are still there. Always better and safer to get a kit.
