Question Which one to get? 16 or 32

Hello guys, I don't know which one to get like should i go for 16gb or 32 gb. I will be running 1-2 virtual machine but at most 3 so which one would be suitable. I doubt I will be doing rendering or video editing but surely will be installing servers on those virtual machines. I will also be doing some learning on ethical hacking and stuff. So which one to get?

At least 32 GB, and from what I have read most get 64 GB when dealing with virtual machines.

But 16 GB is definitely too low, as i maxed that just through multitasking with multiple programs and browsers open. .

For any real use, each VM will need a minimum of 4GB
3 VM's = 12GB, leaving only 4GB for the host OS.

If you're going to be running 3x VM's...go for 32GB RAM.

I have 32GB, and routinely consume 20GB or more with multiple VM's and the host Win 10.

8Gb for Host. 4Gb per VM. That's a minimum. That'll get you websurfing, office programs etc. If you want to do more per VM, such as content creation, number crunching, gaming etc then consider doubling or more per VM. For 3 full time VMs, I'd not recommend anything less than 32Gb, with a preference for 64Gb. Ram is cheap enough that possible use far outweighs possible pagefile use.

Thanks you so much guys for helping me out because I couldn't decide and maybe i will run 2 VM at max. but I was confused as there was a Corsair RGB PRO 16gb and a non-rgb LPX 32gb. I guess i will go for the 32 one and probably give up on a rgb RAM. Again Thanks
