I’m getting my first PC built and Maingear has definitely been very attentive, and helpful. Origin has been difficult in getting a hold of.

What is the better company and build of the two?

I like the idea of partially free shipping on the origin and 34” monitor.

I like Maingear for their help and 5% off order

Solution
Linus Tech Tips made a secret shopper video series on Youtube which includes both companies. Something you may want to watch out of interest.

The main build specs of the two are almost the same (I'm ignoring the more aesthetic aspects of the systems and peripherals). The Origin build has faster RAM which is the only real performance differentiator between the two, and even then it depends on the software as to how much impact it has.

So it will depend on how much value and importance you place on the other included things for the builds.

Specs-wise, it darn sure has about everything covered....!

That would appear to be at least $3200 worth of hardware....(surprised it did not come with NVME M.2 drive for OS, given how impressive everything else is, but, 8 seconds vs 6 for bootup is hardly 'slow', and, NVME drives do not affect framerates)

GOod luck with it!
