hey im wondering
i got 2 options on pc
i5-2400 with an asus strix 4gb gtx 960
or
i5-3470 and an asus strix 2gb gtx 960 which one would you choose performsnce wise?
differences between the 2nd and 3rd gen i5's are minimal but there.
IIRC the 960 can't really use the extra RAM so the 2GB is really close in performance to the 4GB in most cases.
which is cheaper?

This is a tricky question because both of those CPUs are outdated. The second setup has a CPU that is faster in most games because it has about 7-10% faster single threaded performance. But the extra 4gb would be welcome on the strix 960 as sometimes lack of RAM results in low minimum frames: http://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/1888-evga-supersc-4gb-960-benchmark-vs-2gb/Page-2
To be honest I am leaning towards the i5-3470 purely because the 2400 is a bit too old for my liking and then you can consider getting a 970 or a 1060 a bit later for a serious performance leap going forward.
