Any of the Gammax 400 series (Red, Blue, GT, Original) is somewhat better than the CM hyper212. The only reasons the hyper212 became popular in the first place was because it was one of the first decent 120mm towers at a rediculously low price. $20-$25 got you almost the same performance as what others charged $50+ for.

That doesn't make it good by today's standards. Just overly popular. Today its $45 and gets stomped on by the arctic esports, Cryorig H7, Gammax 400's, Noctua NH U12S etc which all have good or better performance or better pricing and equitable performance or both.

Difference between the 400 and GT is the lighting, although there are different versions of the 400, some with higher rpm fans, some lower, some with Intel pushpin and some with screw mount.

So choose either, depending on your taste/wants or choose neither if you want better performance, but you'll not get that at this price point.

Arctic ESports Duo 34
I always try and get an arctic cpu cooler when on a budget as even some of the cheap ones are good if you're not looking to overclock. Practically all the freezer coolers will do you fine but if you can spend the extra £10 on an eSports or eSports Duo then do
