Your links don't work for me. In general, if you're not trying to push any limits, stick with RAM that runs at its advertised speed at standard 1.8V DDR2 voltage.

ok thanks. do the links work now? it was basically Crucial Ballistix, OCZ Reaper HPC Series, OCZ Platinum Rev.2 and Patriot Extreme each for $50. But the first two deals have expired, so I'm down to the last two.

I'll probably do some mild overclocking

I'd stay away from OCZ as they seem to have excessive compatibility issues.
