So I am starting a new build and have almost everything pinned down. I thought I had my SSD boot drive picked out but Newegg threw a fast ball and offered $55 off another SSD (Today and tomorrow only). Now I am faced with a predicament.

The board I plan on buying is the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (also looked at MSI, GA, and ASUS Z77 boards in the same price range. Thought ASRock was best. Other thoughts?)

The two SSD's I am in between are below:

Intel 330 Series Maple Crest 120 GB:

Kingston HyperX 3K 120 GB:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820239045

I have noticed the read/write for the Hyper X are stated higher and the board will end up being $80 instead of $95 for the Intel.

I also just checked out the Intel 520 Series Cherryville 120 GB:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167093

This one costs a little more than I initially wanted to spend, but let's throw it into the mix.

What do you guys think?

Any help is much appreciated!

The updates are a plus... but I have also read that they can be the drive's downfall. I am not a seasoned computer pro. I am just starting out as a matter of fact so I don't know how friendly that would be to me.

I am just so nervous to buy that Hyper X in fear of it failing. Honestly, I am fearful of any SSD. They all seem to have problems.

So I had finally decided to ditch the 1TB WD Black Caviar I was going to buy and instead of one SSD, I was going to buy two Hyper X's... I waited too long.

I am now over that and accepted that a Crucial M4 with the WD 1 TB will be fine.

When doing a little more research on the Crucial M4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148525

I went to Crucial's web site http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=CT128M4SSD2BAA

and used their compatibility checker with my ASRock MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

The compatibility checker says this M4 is okay: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148442

The two Part numbers:
CT128M4SSD2BAA
CT128M4SSD2

The only difference between the two part numbers is BAA... I previously thought that this difference was that a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter was included.

It said they weren't compatible. I don't see why that is, but do you think that is right??
