which option is best

hi all
im not sure what to do. Iv got a GA-7VAXP with 512 PC3200
do I
a]get another 512 of PC3200
b]get an Nforce 2 board Abit NF7-S
which would give me the best results in games (I cant aford both)
Also im not using S-ATA so is it worth getting the NF7-S
or will the NF7 do.

More RAM will help more at stock speed, but the better board will help more if you plan to overclock. Since you're already overclocking, you could probably get more bus speed from the newer board.

NF7-S also has the nForce APU, which is a powerful audio processor. And you might someday be using an SATA drive, so it's a good investment.

I would get the motherboard. 512Megs of RAM is enough in most gaming situation. Even Doom 3 don't benefit that much of 1Gig of RAM.

Crucial has the best cross-platform compatability I've seen, so I'm 99% sure it will be fine. Actually a bit better than 99% certainty.
