Which option is better?

I have 4 options of upgrading my computer.
1st option is to get an I7-7700K with a new graphics card 6GB or more if i can afford it.
2nd option is to buy a Ryzen 7 1700x with a new motherboard.
3rd option is to buy the new coffee lake 8700k with new motherboard and new ram.
4th option is you suggest me a better option

My specs right now :
Intel I5-6600k OC to 4Ghz
GTX 970 4GB OC Edition MSI
16GB 2400Mhz DDR4 RAM
Z170-K Motherboard from Asus
SSD 256GB

Assuming gaming? If so, what titles do you play? And what resolution do you intend to play at?

A 6600K + 970 4GB really doesn't need an upgrade right now...... although depending on the title/resolution, it may be beneficial.

Still a powerhouse for 1080p gaming right now.

Still a powerhouse for 1080p gaming right now.

Gaming & editing working in sony vegas, adobe illustrator and photoshop.
I play FPS games like cs, pubg, gta 5 and etc. I play on 144Hz 1080p and i'm thinking about an upgrade because my cpu gets up to 100% cpu usage also i want to do some csgo streaming as well. My gpu is quite old now an upgrade would be nice.

An upgrade to an i7 is probably a solid route to go then, absolutely.

The GPU however, I'm not convinced you're really going to see a benefit sufficient to justify the cost outlay..... a 970 is still a very strong card.

I mean, a 1060 (6GB) or RX580 (8GB) are in the $250-$300 range, and aren't going to show substantial gains.

A 1070 or 1070TI would be a nice boost over what you have, and would pair pretty well with 1080p/144Hz (the TI might be a touch overkill), but that's a $400-$450 investment. Personally, I don't feel the gains would justify the $400+ outlay for that.

Try upgrading the CPU first of all, and see how you feel afterwards.

i7 coffee lake or kaby lake? Coffee lake ain't compatible with my motherboard so i guess 7700k right?

Depends how much you want to put into it really.

A 6700K or 7700K would be a cheaper option, but CoffeeLake could net you more cores...... really depends on your budget & what your priority is.

Wasting my money on new motherboard is not my priority so i'd just go with kaby lake i7-7700k on black friday this month

Just so you know, I wouldn't expect a 7700K to receive sizeable discounts on Black Friday.

BF is mostly used to clear older/obsolete tech, and the 7700K is not likely to be deemed so.
