I have an Intel Core i7 6700,ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB,Corsair Vengeance 16gb ddr4,cm 700w psu,wd 1tb hdd , kingston 240gb ssd and ASUS H170 Mobo.
Windows 10 isnt my potion , itwas wose actually.
Should i install Windows 7 64 Bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit.

Which is better and which will be able to use all the hardware properly?
I have read that modern hardware wont run Windows 7 and will just emulate the resources.(something like that).

What to do i am just looking for gaming and net surfing.

If i get Windows 8.1 without any exact reason , i will just think why shouldnt i have taken 7 ? How would it be?
If i get 7 without exact reason , i will just think ....was 8.1 faster..would it have worked better than 7 on this pc?
I love 8.1 and is my current OS.
I am asking about OS install after an upgrade.
I have so many games . so i cant upgrade in the future.
I wont be upgrading my pc too.

I am very confused.
Please tell me is Windows 7 better on modern hardware than 8.1?

1.will windows 7 work on this skylake?
2.if it does will it give me good performance for years or will underperform , being an aged OS?

8.1 is advanced but still asking .
Will windows 7 work on this pc and will it give me a good performance especially for gaming?

In short, i want to know :

Which OS would work fine on my pc without any problems for years?
will Windows 7 being aged cause any performance problems?

Should i stay with 8.1 or go for 7?

Please help.

OS with no compromise of performance .
In my view 8.1 takes the position but just wanted to use 7.
So pls tell me. Which one?
I just wanted to get the best now.

Windows 7 and 8.1 perform mostly the same, but windows 8 couldn't start some older games when I used it for more than a year ago. If you ain't experiencing any problems with starting a game then you won't need windows 7.
