which paper shredder?

Your best bet is to go to an office supply store and physically look at the models.

Very easy to overload an inexpensive shredder and have it shut down via thermal overload. Or jam.

And running 6 sheets at a time will heat up fast.

Can take the shreder some time to cool off and reset.

Jamming is a major problem and reversing to unjam can be problematic.

Get a sense of the quality and workmanship. Most are constructed of plastic that is brittle and will break. Especially the safety switches - little plastic tabs that tend to snap very easily.

And most have small baskets that when just past 1/2 to 3/4 full mark will "push back" at the incoming sheets slowing and jamming the shredding process.

Look at the models and again read the reviews. You will be able to make a better decision overall. And not just with respect to the current two shredder candidates.
