which partition should I boot from when installing windows 7,partition 0 or 1?

I'm removing Linux mint to install windows 7 and I don't want to mess up my laptop.

I would say install Windows in Partition 0 and then use a partitioning software like Minitool Partition Magic to format/resize or create new partitions in the second partition from within windows.
