Hi. I'm new to this PC building scene. I know that i can craft a faster and cheaper PC than what the company can manufacture, but im kinda stuck. I cant figure out what parts i need. Can anyone help? And if you do answer please leave options, im on a budget. If you can help me long term can you email me?

I plan to craft the computer digitally, then order the parts and do it physically, just to see if they all fit and stuff so i can make no mistakes. I plan to order a

Intel Core i5-3450 Quad-Core Processor 3.1 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1155 CPU
and a

ASRock Z77 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA Motherboard.

I have my Operating System, Windows 8.1, ready and Liquid Cooling, Hyper 212 Evo. This is going to be an Intel Desktop PC with a tower CPU. I don't plan to game but to use it for fast rendering of my xbox videos. Mabye a bit of gaming, Like five nights at freddys or slender, not anything too extreme like Crysis. So i dont plan to spend much as far as making games look good, but of fast rendering.

Sorry to ramble on please help me some? Thanks!

www.pcpartpicker.com is used by many builders to piece together their systems. The site performs a few basic compatibility tests for you as well.
The cooler you have selected is an air cooler, not a liquid cooler. Since your proposed CPU is a locked model, you will not need liquid cooling anyway. In fact, although the Hyper212 EVO is not a bad cooler, it is a bang/buck Loser, with many similar 120mm competitors that offer similar performance (+/- 1C-3C) for 30%-40% less money.

That i5-3450 CPU is a 3rd gen Ivy Bridge so better pick 4th generation Haswell components, prices are not so different. With just $30.00 more you can get a 4th gen Socket 1150 Haswell i5 4670k or i5 4690k with 20% higher speed and efficiency..

I picked the basic components on pcpartspicker... you can add the rest yourself clicking on the component type icon on top, and next select the specifications from the bar on the right.
