I have an opportunity to sell my current computer and get another one but I don't know which one is overall better.
My current build is:
amd ryzen 5 1600
8gb corsair vengeance 3000
msi b350m gaming pro
geforce gtx 980ti
1tb western digital 7200
coolermaster liquid lite 120
evga supernova 650 g2
nzxt h440

And the other computers specs are:

intel i7 5820k
gtx 980
asus rampage IV motherboard
2tb hdd
2 256gb samsung ssd
16gb corsair vengenance
corsair h100 cpu cooler
some ugly green braided cables that don't go with the build at all
corsair 760t case
corsair RM 1000 power supply
also comes with a corsair k90 keyboard and corsair mouse

If anyone could help me in anyway with this it would be appreciated.

Also forgot to add I would be almost always using my computer for gaming and a little light college work.

Solution
I would hang on to your current rig. The GPU is the most important part of a gaming rig and the 980ti is better than a 980. Even for workstation task, you are trading a 6 core for a 6 core. I would not do it. The Ryzen CPUs have really pushed back the old Intel HEDT parts.

The only thing your rig needs is a SSD and maybe 8gb more of RAM. You can get a 500gb Crucial MX500 for around 100 and it is a very good SSD.

"Bird in hand is worth two in the bush!"
Is this a straight up swap one for the other?
I doubt that you could sell your current build for enough money to get the other computer.
feelinfroggy777 is right about the GPU (CPU and the SSD!)

the other pc isn't listed for alot of money it's £700 and I could easily sell my pc to get other one. I have also seen in person the computer working and playing games.

If it doesn't have a warranty, it isn't worth it.
Unless there is something drastically wrong with your current system, there is no reason to change. Just upgrade what you have with a SSD, and you should be good to go.
