I'm just looking for a cheap $100-$150 1080p monitor, preferably a 24 inch. In need of one because I do game frequently and the monitor I've been using which in reality is a tv, decided to take a dump on me. Not looking for anything fancy right now, just something to get my buy until I upgrade my whole computer and buy a 1440p monitor. My local Walmart sells an AOC I2476VWM 24inch for $130 and I'm just wondering if this is a good deal or if I should look elsewhere for something similar?

Solution
then that AOC should work more than fine, it has a decent looking bezel and it is even an IPS screen. you can actually use that for quite a long time
No I have a GTX 750Ti currently. When I upgrade my entire system I will be going with a GTX 1070, so the Freesync won't really do much for me lol. Guess I should have mentioned that above

I've looked online on places like craigslist or whatever and there's literally nothing in 1080p in my area that someone wants to get rid of unless their whole PC goes with it. That's why I was looking at the AOC from Walmart and was wondering if it would be sufficient for the time being or something similar. If all else fails when I get the new monitor and GPU and all that, I can use the 1080p monitor for web browsing and such in a dual monitor combo with the 1440p monitor I'm looking to buy. Or if worse comes to worse, hand it off to my younger brother who is also in need of a new monitor. (His still works though, just has some issues lol)
