Which phone is better G3 or S4?

Which phone is better the LG G3 or the Samsung Galaxy S4? I know the S5 is out and the S6 is coming soon but my stepsister is getting a Note 4 so we have an extra phone but my dad bought the LG G3 but only one so is it better for me to get the S4 for 4 months and then possibly the Google Nexus 6 or just get the G3 and let my brother have that option.

I currently own an LG G2 and my wife has a Samsung Galaxy S4. I mostly stick with LG products when I can and she has had almost only the Galaxy series. Comparing our two phones the G2 beats it hands down and she is thinking about switching. From what I hear the G3 is a lot better than the G2. I would suggest the G3 but ultimately it comes down to you if you have brand preference. I can say the G2 takes better pictures than the S4.
