Which phone should i buy and why?

Hello. My brother wants to buy a smartphone. He only wants to be able to run apps without any performance problems. He also wants a good camera.
Which one of those 3 would u recommend ?
Those are the only ones he can choose from.

I'd say the Moto E, It's Android 5.0 so its updated, has slightly newer processor *so performance is better* none of these phones will have a "good camera" but if it was camera over performance than the HTC Desire may be better due to the ability to take 1080p rather than the rest which resort to 720p
