Which porcessor for gaming/editing

i have all of the other components in my rig all that is left is my cpu. i will use the pc for recording gameplay and editing the videos.

So Which CPU AMD fx 8350 or the intel i5 3570k

You need to tell us what the socket is.. . only then someone can advise you what CPU to buy.

For video editing Id go with 3770k or 4770k best is 4930k or 3930k
4670k is not bac choice. LGA 1150 mobos are better than old LGA 1155.

If you do not want to OC then look Xeon 1230V2 / 1230V3 cpu. It is like a i7 for a price i5.
You can not OC but it do have HT + 8 Treads. Then look cheap B or H mobo.
