Which port is connected the GPU

How can I tell which DVI port is connected to the gpu and which is connected to the motherboard? Also, if a prebuilt pc has a hdmi port, will the hdmi port be connected to the GPU?

If you can't tell from the back, the easiest thing to do is just to open the side panel and look inside. The card will be plugged in to the motherboard and you'll be able to see the part of the GPU that comes out the back.

If it has a HDMI port I highly doubt it's connected to the motherboard. It's the GPUs port.
