get a quality psu from a reliable brand like corsair, seasonic, antec. low quality psu's can fuck up your entire system if something happens, a psu is something you cannot afford to go cheap on, it is what is keeping your pc alive afterall.

recommending this, if you plan on upgrading your system (newer gpu's use a lot more power) in the future get the 750W version instead.

of course if the psu does its job it's fine, but poor brands and quality is not really something you want in your machine, you cannot afford going cheap on psu's as it can potentially damage your entire system if you have bad luck

how much is your budget? there's also this one, it's cheaper and a reliable brand and should do the job fine with your old gpu as it doens't use a lot of power http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=59615&vpn=P1550SXXB9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1221

That is a very good suggestion, but for a little bit lower (it's still expensive in the UK), I am gonna go for "OCZ OCZ-ZS550W-UK 550W ZS Series 550W 80+ Bronze PSU with 135mm Fan & single +12V Rail "

I read elsewhere that OCZ is a good reliable company so that is what I opted for, although I know its not future proof. I think I can get a couple years more out of my system until I have to completely upgrade everything. But thanks anyway
