[SOLVED] Which processor and ram can I upgrade in my mobo?

I have a Jetway 945GCM2S-A2-6H motherboard. I'm planning to upgrade it, so which processor and and how much ram will support on my motherboard? Currently I have a Celeron 1.86 Ghz processor on the board with 2gb ram on it.

To tell you what ram and cpu you would need I would have to know what motherboard you are going to buy. Also there are many cpu and ram options for one motherboard.

Doesn't seem like you can do much it seems it doesn't support core 2 quad according to http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Jetway/945GCM2S-A2-6H.html max memory are 4 gb http://www.jetway.com.tw/jw/motherboard_view.asp?productid=405&proname=945GCM2S-A2-6CH just remember to install win 7 64 bit.

That jetway supports c2d just fine, the better upgrades will be the E7300 c2d 1066MHz FSB or the E8300 c2d 1333MHz FSB, both at 2.6GHz.

It does not support quad core at all, most motherboards in the Pentium4/Pentium D range don't.

It's honestly not worth upgrading. The performance difference is so small in relative terms, you'd barely notice the difference
