Which processor is best for overall performance : AMD FX 4100 Black edition or A

Hi,
I want to know which processor is best for overall performance. I don't need any gaming performance but I want speed for genegal computing and in graphical works. AMD FX 4100 black edition or AMD APU, which is better Or anything from Intel. Please suggest.

Thx for the suggestion. Can u suggest Which RAM will I buy? Someone siad me AMD 1666 FSB RAM will work better. Is it true? Will I buy AMD RAM or any other RAM. If u know then kindly suggest the name. I'm planning to buy 4GB RAM.

I'm thinking to buy a processor within 10,000 - 12,000 (Indian Rupees). For better performance I can go little more too. Kindly suggest the RAM also. I'm planning to buy 4GB. Is AMD RAM work better or any other RAM will work better with APU.

I would go for the A10-5800K then, that should be around 7000-8000 Rupees (converted from Pounds Sterling)

No AMD RAM won't work better, it is just brand named therefore will probably cost more. I'm not too sure what kind of RAM APUs require, I would guess same as normal RAM.

If you only want 4GB RAM, I would buy 2x 2GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

Should be around 2000-3000 Rupees.

As for ram, as long as its DDR3-1600, your good to go.
