Which processor would last longer in the future?

I mostly game and not much of editing. I'm stuck between the 4670k and 4770k.which one is preferable for long term use

Long term the 4770K since more and more apps will use the capability to handle more threads.

well the 4770k but the 4670k is a great for gaming but if you do all those fancy photo and video software well the i7 wins but for the rest the 4670k i sboss i game on it and love it now i want a real gaming z87 board

"Masmotors" ...... Will the 4670k be good enough for the future games and softwares as well ... Cause I'm not looking to change the processor for the next 2 yrs...
Gaming is priority . I don't do video editing

Couple of years the 4670K will be fine, 4-5 years the 4770K would be my choice.
