Which prossesor is better for gaming?

I am looking at the AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor and the AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor. I am wondering which one is better for gaming.

easily the 8350 but for the same price if ur building a gaming pc and u dnt have any parts with u i would choose i5 4460....

FX 8350 is AMD's best gaming chip. In saying this, if you have the budget I'd highly suggest picking up an Intel chip if you're going to be gaming a lot as Intel's vastly superior in the processor game.

The 8350 without a doubt; there's the 9590 too but it is a bit more expensive too.

Careful, the 9000's are 200w cpus...you'd need to spend extra $$$ for a motherboard that won't fry.

Depends on what motherboard he has. If the motherboard allow him some overclocking room then the quad core if overclocked will get very close in gaming performance. Games will not use the 8 cores from the FX 8350.
