Which PSU Is Better? Corsair vs. XFX.

Hi I've read many posts with many different opinions when it comes to this question!

Choosing Between These, which is the better option:

Today my PSU blew out and it was an XFX 550W.... I am scared to go for XFX 750W over the Corsair 750W unless it is guaranteed not to happen again if I get the XFX 750W! So please show some proof that the XFX is better than the corsair option.

Corsair does have some good PSUs, specifically the ones made by Seasonic, but unfortunately the CX isn't one of them. It has some sub-par capacitors that make it just an average PSU.

I agree the XFX is the better unit. Also with your old PSU you should contact XFX those units have a 5-yr warranty.

No contest , XFX is made by Seasonic , far Superior than Corsair.

The only good Corsair PSU's are made by SEASONIC.


Any brand PSU can have a bad one here and there , it's under warranty get another one.

The Corsair posted above has poor capacitors , the XFX linked above is made by SEASONIC and has high quality Japanese capacitors.

I don't know about that. Their Flextronic made units(some AX and all the AXi series) are pretty good aswell.
