EVGA's NEX series (aka G1) are not quality units, the CXm is a far better unit out of the two.
Generally speaking, the CXm series (grey label) is near unbeatable in the budget market.

The CXM (as it's from the new series) is better than the other one. That's one of the older EVGAs before they started using SeaSonic and Super Flower regularly on their flagships.

I dunno, someone I just helped had one of the newer CXM's go bad on them... They didn't have it very long either.

I still stay away from recommending them personally.

Putting aside the idea of evaluating power supplies by one sample, rather than by the quality of the platform, how do you know it's one of the new ones? The old green ones had a 750 as well and the poster didn't specify which one he had. Those olds ones are *still* all over the place in the ecosystem, if less common t han before.

I mean, that post specifically says its a CX750. Which is an entirely different platform than the CXm series. The old CX units had poor QC and cheap caps, the CXm series is far better.
