I have a Corsair HX850i, (and an HX850), and I just ordered a new CPU and Asus Prime Z790-A motherboard. I see the motherboard has (2) 8 pin CPU power inputs. I notice these PSU's only have (1) 8 pin CPU power outlet. There are other 8 pin outlets on the PSU's but I don't know if those are usable to plug into that other CPU power input. Anyone have any information or suggestions on what I am going to need to do to get this going? Am I going to have to get a different power supply?

If you look at the picture is says 6+2 PCI-E & 4+4 CPU. I would use the top 2 for your 4+4 connections and the others for your PCI-E cables.

According to the manual, you should have had 2x 4+4 connectors, for CPU power.

(2) cables yeah, but there is only (1) 4+4 CPU port on the PSU itself. I don't know why that manual doesn't have a diagram of the ports on the back of the unit. My paper manual at home does. There are other 8 pin ports on the unit, but they are not labled as CPU power and I don't know if they are ok to use for that, or if they even have the same footprint shapes as the motherboard inputs. I haven't received the motherboard yet.

In looking at the diagram, I don't think the footprint is the same on those other 8 pin ports as the 8 pin port for the cpu. So that makes me wonder if there is a cable that only has one plug on the PSU end and (2) 8 pin plugs on the cpu end, similar to the graphics card cables that are made that way.
