I'm deciding which Power Supply to get. I'm contemplating on if I should pay 10 extra more dollars for it to be semi-modular, or save money and buy the non-modular.

Semi-Modular: https://goo.gl/ujc6fe

Non-Modular: https://goo.gl/duKtno

Current Setup:
CPU: AMD A8-6600K
MoBo: A88x-G45 Gaming (MS-7900)
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce OC GTX 1050 TI 4 GB
PSU: Thermaltake 600W
RAM: 2X4 8 GB DDR3

520 is more than enough.

Right now you may be able to find the Seasonic G series 450w unit very cheap which is even more than enough and a more efficient unit.
Id steer way clear of the CX series

Jonnyguru gives it a 7 in build quality

Check the ratings on this one ($40) last week it was$30 so watch pricing day to day

The larger version is justt $35 meaning it will run quieter and more efficiently than the 520 ... a proverbial "no brainer" at this price

The newer CXM series is somewhat better, and a "good PSU for the monmey", but the emphasis here is on the last 3 words.

Alright thank you.

Thermaltake SE 500 watts would be more thane enough for your build. First of all the PSU is 80+ certified and secondly, it is modular so you can choose easily what cable you want in your sytem and which ones you don't.

This thread is 8 months old, I'd bet he has a PSU by now. As per forum rules please don't dig up old threads. Closed.
