Hi,

I'm building a PC on a budget:
CPU: i5-6402P
GPU: Radeon RX 480 4gb (most prob gigabyte as I can get it cheaper than the rest)
RAM: 1x16 gb
MOBO: MSI h110 pro-D (or other variations)
CASE: NZXT S340 / PHANTEKS p400/ p400s

Which PSU should I get:
I initially wanted to get a corsair CX550M (grey version) @ 55 pounds but I could also get corsair CS750M (grey version) @ 70 pounds or go for something more expensive : EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2 @ 77 pounds or the 650 version at 83 pounds.

I assume the corsair 750w is an overkill - so the question would be is the EVGA worth extra 22 pounds or almost 30 for 650w?

If you have any other good options tier1/2 under 70 pounds in UK please let me know. Thanks

Solution
The CXM (grey) will be fine.
The EVGA is better but for the price it doesn't pay itself.

Usually XFX TS / Core / Pro are fairly cheap in the UK
Same goes for the excellent Super Flower Golden Green / Gold King series
Evga Supernova G2 are superior to corsair, corsair PSU's are bad and i have seen many problems with them in this forum. Go with EVGA 650, it is worth to pay 5 extra pounds for 100w, it will work more efficiently if pc consumes less electricity than it can provide.

i've heard that the grey versions are much better than the old (green) ones. But yeah, u are right - if I would choose EVGA I could go for the 650w for extra 6 pounds - so the question is Corsair CX550M @ 55 pounds or EVGA Supernova 650w G2 @ 83 pounds - or any other suggestions.
