Which R9 390 should I get?

I was planning on getting an Asus Strix OC R9 390, but I read some reviews and apparently there are some cooling issues. I was recommended the Sapphire Nitro. Which should I get? Are there any other i should consider getting?

Just curios, if the MSI one is the one you suggested, why do you have the MSi 390?

I think you mean it the other way around. If Sapphire is the one I have, why did I go MSI?

Well, at the time I think the MSI was cheaper, the Sapphire was also too large for my case without removing hard drive bays (the Sapphire is huge), and the MSI has a cooler look (opinion). Either one is great, though.

Am I able to remove some of the bard drive bays and leave the rest? Or will it be fine as long as there is no hard drive in that slot?
