Hey guys I wanted to ask you which of these 2 radeon 9800 none pro cards is better chioce:

1)The Gigacube 9800 GameBuster RETAIL for 169$
http://www.komusa.com/giatira9812a.html
2)The Powercolor 9800 OEM (with all the cabels) for 173$
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-131-406&depa=1

The Gigacube pack looks tempting but its kinda fishy...
They say that the VPU speed is
RADEON 9800 graphics technology 380Mzh core speed
eventhough i know that the none pro radeon should be 325Mhz... I will appritiate your help :)

Choice between the 2 crappiest brands...

I probably would go with the Gigacube, since it's retail package, and has a better software bundle.

Powercolor hardware sucks, but I've had a decent warranty experience with them for what it's worth.

Well, the powercolor card's OEM... so warranty from powercolor doesn't really matter.

Go with the product with the most interesting bundle and extra features for you.
Performance wise, it should be about the same.

Mine was OEM, too. That's why I was impressed with the service. :)

They charged me a $20 restocking fee to replace it (with the card I'm using now), but most companies won't even TOUCH their OEM cards...

Probably a mistake made by the reseller. Nothing big, just email them and make sure.

I don't want to get into a war on which is better and faster. Both the R350 (9800) and the NV35 (5900XT) are excellent chips, but between those two, ATI seems to have the edge as far a graphics quality goes. If both were equally priced, I'd personally go with the 9800.

Spend a few dollars more and get a Sapphire card.

The 9800 is the better performer compared to the 5900XT, the 5900XT was released to compete with the 9600XT.

The core can reach pro's speed, but the memory will have trouble, since non-pro boards most of them uses 3.3ns Samsung or 3.0ns Infineon.

I think you meant R9800SE not XT, right?
But I agree the 9800nonpro is better than the 5900XT or the 5900nonultra also.
