Which RAM do I get?

I posted something about this yesterday but it didn't go up. I am looking to upgrade the ram on my computer from 8gb. I would like to go up to 16gb. Which ram is best for me? I have an asus q550lf

I do editing and gaming and want to get into animating

Then yes 16GB running at 1600mhz would be preferable. Just make sure your laptop can support up to 16Gigs.
