Hey guys. I got a laptop as a present but it only has 4gb ram on it.

The model is a Samsung Book E30 NP550XDA-KT1BR, and its CPU is the Core i3-1115G4.

On the website (and on any other website) they bought it says that this laptop comes with a 4gb DDR4 2666mhz with it, but on the official intel ark website it says this processor supports 3200mhz of ram.
So if I were to buy another stick of ram, which one should I buy? 3200mhz or 2666mhz like the one that comes with it?

Solution
First, make sure that your laptop did in fact have two RAM slots, and that the existing RAM is not soldered to the motherboard.

Your model did appear to have two RAM slots, but I'm not too certain as I've not seen it myself.

If you plan to buy just one stick, 3200MHz would be a waste.

If you plan to replace the existing one, a kit of two 3200MHz modules would be good, for maximum stability - But as always, do hold on to the receipt in case it doesn't work out.

Thanks for the reply. I can't afford much now, only 1 stick. Should I get one 2666mhz then? It in fact has two ram slots, and the existing one is removable.
