They're both DDR2 800

OCZ (OCZ2P800R22GK) DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz Platinum XTC Revision 2 2GB (2x1024MB) Dual Channel Kit

Timings: 4-4-4-15
Price: 72.99

Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400 Low Latency DIMM Kit (PDC22G6400LLK )

Timings: 4-4-4-12
Price: 85=7.99

If you guys say OCZ is better, I'll have to go out today and get it b4 discount ends. Thanks for help.

My vote is for the Patriot, as it has a possibility of Micron D9 chips. Even if you get non-Micron chips in the Patriot, they are still just as good as the OCZ. The revision 2 of the Platinum XTC stuff is all the lower quality ProMOS chips and can't overclock nearly as high Micron or even the chips or even the revision 1 of the Platinum.

I like OCZ myself.
Reaper memory is pretty sweet. You can get the 800 (2x1gb for about 145$ Canadian)kit running at 1066. You can also drop the timings to 4-3-4-12 (correct me if im wrong bad memory) with a 680 chip.
also a lifetime warrenty up to 2.2v.

From my experience they have both been great. I dont know where they get the chips on the sticks, but there is a possibility they could be the same.

Whatever is cheaper is my vote!

Everyone has answered as far as I can tell.

My vote is for the cheaper one as well.
You are not likely to have any perceptible difference between the two running at stock speeds.

If you are pairing them with a 1333FSB C2D and you plan massive OC's it may matter, but other than that it does not.

But what are you going to OC?

Example - A Q6600 will run @3.6Ghz with DDR2-800 at Stock Speeds.

An E4400 will run @ 4.0Ghz with DDR2-800 (Which this CPU can never reach)

An E6550 will run only run @2.8Ghz with DD2-800 @ Stock.

What DDR2 Speeds to you intend to reach?

at a 1:1 ratio the fsb would have to be 500 to reach 1000mhz on the memory

that would be over clocking the 6750 to 4ghz

without overclocking the ram you could take the 6750 to 3.2ghz using a 400mhz fsb

What kind of a cooler do you play on using for that cpu?
