Which Ram should I choose for MSI Z270 Gaming Carbon Pro?

Hello guys. I almost finished my first gaming PC. The only thing left to buy is Ram. (I am not going to overclock any of my PC Parts... so overclock doesn't matter to me..)
My CPU is Intel Core i7-6700k Skylake (6th Gen)

My Motherboard is MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon (This motherboard has memory speed 2133 MHz for 6th gen CPU like i7-6700k.. and 2400MHz for 7th Gen.. the rest memory speed it can reach with overclock is 2600OC MHz, 2800OC MHz, 3000OC MHz, 3200OC MHz, 3600OC MHz, 3800OC MHz

I decided to buy Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4 but I don't know which version should I buy...

1) Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4 with 2400 MHz

2) Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4 with 3000 MHz

I thought the 2400MHz version must be better for me... I mean my motherboard can't reach 3000MHz right?(since i am not gonna overclock..) and the 2400MHz version is cheaper too...

You could run RAM at 3000 MHz on that board - all it takes is to turn on XMP in BIOS. But there is very little difference in performance, especially in games, so it's perfectly ok to go with 2400.

Yes, XMP is sort of memory overclock. Note however that XMP is not trying to push memory beyond its limits (as in old days OC worked) but merely set it up to already tested speed.
