Which RAM should i get? DDR4

Hello, so i'm going to get this new build and i got a question:
CPU: Intel Core I7 6700K
GPU: MSI GTX 980Ti GAMING 6G
Motherboard: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
HDD: WD Blue 1000GB 64MB cache
RAM: ????
So, i can get only DDR4 RAM for this build since it's Skylake CPU and i wanted to ask if the DDR4 SDRAM and only DDR4 is the same thing, and if yes will it fit into the motherboard? (For example: Kingston 16GB KIT DDR4 SDRAM 2666MHz HyperX Fury Black Series)

Hi, Try using manufacturer configurators for compatible RAMs. Example:

That Kingston Kit will work fine with the ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING and the i7-6700k.

YES DDR4 SDRAM is what u want

DDR4 and SDRAM just refer to the types of the RAM
