[SOLVED] Which Ram to choose? all brands legit?

hi guys, im struggling to choose which ram to buy,
im gonna upgrade to this specs in the near future:
CPU: 3700x
GPU: 2070super
mobo: MSI MPG x570 Gaming Edge wifi
psu: be quiet straight power 11 750w

use case would be playing and streaming games

ram:
im unsure what to get, as im a pc noobie especially (after reading a few weeks) when it comes to ram
i know speed and cl are what matters, but i have concerns about certain brands. some seem to make simply to good deals...
any help and knowhow is much appreciated

it advertises from a brand called"Patriot Viper"
DDR 3733mhz and the CL is either 15-15-15-36 or 17-21-21-41 for 95€
does that seem legit?
should i consider a different brand/kit ? if so which ones to look for
3200 or 3600 ?

is that compatible with the Mobo that i picked out? ( havent bought yet)
i would like to stay around 90-115€ for RAM

RAM is RAM, period. Patriot Viper is a fine brand. It should work with any current board but if you want to be sure, check the motherboard QVL list.
That looks like a sweet deal. You should take it. Even the reviews are good for that product.

Just play it safe and pick a kit from the motherboard maker's memory support page.

On another note consider a different motherboard in that price range. Here's why:

QVL consists of the list of kits tested with the board. If a kit is not tested with the board, does not mean it wont work. Most modern kits are compatible with most modern boards. Having said that, QVL kits are guaranteed to work 95% of the time.

guess ill go with the ASUS TUF then, or would you rather recommend the Aorus Elite ?

Whichever you prefer, really. I the only brand I have any loyalty to at the moment is Noctua, and they don't make motherboards.

That speed issue was a motherboard limitation, if I recall correctly. Some B and A series mobos couldn't OC higher than 2933mhz for Ryzen 1000 and 2000.

I say get the cheaper one, they're going to perform identically.
And later on, you could look into tweaking the 3600 kit to get more performance out of it using Ryzen Dram Calculator.

I am using the Patriot Viper 3733, in my Gigabyte x570 itx board. I haven't run any benchmarks, but it seems to work fine, for my usage.
