In the next week or so I will be getting a 12700k and I am kinda being pigeoned holed into getting DDR4 as DDR5 is incredibly hard to find. I am looking to get a 32 gig kit and I am having trouble deciding what my best option would be. The two kits I am considering are:

https://www.newegg.com/neo-forza-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/0RN-0097-00037
https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232907

What is my best option here? Would overclocking the g-skill be another option? If DDR5 wasn't so rare I assume that would be the best option. Thanks for your time.

Get g.skill, but get this kit: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232091?item=N82E16820232091

Its cheaper and you wont see a noticable performance difference going to the 3600mhz kit unless you plan to carefully manually overclock it. Just get the 3200 kit in my link and set it to xmp. Gskill is super reliable(my last build is 9 years old and the ram has been flawless). My new build is a 12600k rig and i am building it with the kit i linked you. Wait to order though because it might go on sale for black friday/cyber monday.
