Which ram to pick for Ryzen 7 2700x and Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7?

Hello,
I am having difficulty trying to understand supported memory lists for CPU and motherboard I picked - AMD Ryzen 7 2700x for cpu, and Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi. Both list 2933 frequency as supported, but in motherboard supported memory list pdf file - I cannot find anything with 2933

But, for example, support memory lists HX433C16PB3K2/16 as running at 2133 frequency, while it is 3333 frequency memory...

You need to enable XMP (or the AMD equivalent) to get the rated speeds on the memory.

In the PDF, the 'Native' speeds is standard SPD value the memory will run at not in XMP mode. Each memory speed category has highlighted in teal colour what frequencies those kits can operate at using XMP. The first set is for DDR4 3600MHz. Each one of those kits as a v marked under XMP column so thats what you'll need to enable in the bios to get those speeds.

For reliable memory for Ryzen at 3000+ go for a kit thats got Samsung chips. Dram voltage should be 1.35v at these speeds which XMP should set. All DDR4 memory is 1.2v or 1.35v, they can run at either. 1.2v stock speeds are 2400MHz~2666, 1.35v 2666~3200+.
