Which ram to use for dual channel?

I have been usinng a single stick HyperX 8gb ddr4 ram(HX424C15FB2/8) for quiet a time. I wish to upgrade to 16 gb and thought of buying another one of these stick but sadly it is now really costly in my country(1500INR or almost 23 dollars more!!!) I want to know if I buy ram of different brand with same memory and speed(2400Mhz). Will there be any problem?

There's no way to be certain without actually trying it, but if new stick is same capacity & same speed as your existing stick, it should work.
