I have currently built a new pc which consists of:
Viper X PSU
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD 5000 black edition
Raptor HD for operating System
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics card
XP Pro
I purchased some Kingston HyperX - 2x1gb PC2-6400 through ebay (my first mistake) and basically its duff and im in a battle now for a refund.
Im wondering which ram to get now?
I have read through various pages on this site and reviews but im not an extreme gamer so some of the ram mentioned in articles would probably be wasted on me. I do hammer the pc in other ways with dvd progs/winrar/slideshow dvd creations etc and as my old pc would just struggle I decided to update to this new set up.
What I do understand is ram is important, I narrowed it down to wanting the PC2-6400, my question now is which brand to go for without spending too much? Should I stick to the Kingston HyperX and try and order a fresh lot? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
