I prefer corsair, their LEDs look way better, brighter and more colorful than others.I have an Asus ROG motherboard and it only has 2RGB headers

How so? Mine runs pretty fine? I have two fans on a lighting node core, a k68 rgb, and an m55 rgb.I went all in on corsair and I regret it.

Can't speak about the nexus, but I never had the keyboard mouse issue probably because it's wired lol. It surely is a performance hog though. Eats up like 3% cpu sometimes. But at least it's easier to use than stupid gigabyte rgb fusion unresponsive cr**I went:
Dark Core
K57 Wireless keyboard
H115i RGP Platinum
iCue Nexus Touch Companion
6 x ML 120 fans (includes lightening node)
Commander Pro
It constantly loses connection with wireless keyboard and mouse, its a performance hog, it keeps doubling up peripherals on the dashboard, thoroughly disappointed with the iCue Nexus as a product in general, way too many wires.
Next build, ditching all the nonsense.
