Hello, i have a budget of about $750 to purchase a gaming desktop and i have found two appealing options, they are both custom built but the specs are

PC 1 -

CPU (APU) - AMD A-5600K Quad Core 3.6Ghz to 3.9Ghz

RAM - 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5
HDD - Seagate 1 TB SATA 3

Which one of these two setups would be best for the games i play?

Get the one with the the 5600k and the HD6970 - it will perform much better
