which router is better

i switched from the default mi424wr router from fios to a linksys ea6200 (ac900) did i make a good switch or is it about the same

I would say you made a good switch. I prefer Linksys over any other brand.

Did you completely remove the ActionTec? Does all the TV stuff still work?

i mean i just got it have to use it for some time but i mean theoretically is is supposed to be better and im more interested in hardwired connections because i game heavily that is why i switched so i had better options for game ports and stuff ( the actiontec had no option to disable upnp and i needed to)

Do you also have TV service through FiOS? If so....swapping routers may not be an ideal solution.

Have you actually plugged it in and replaced the ActionTec?
