Hello guys

For my new pc I will be buying a Asus Rog Strix B360-G Gaming Motherboard. I just wanted to ask which SATA ports are controlled by the mobo’s chipset and which from an add-on controller (I will be using a Seagate Barracuda 2TB with SATA 3 only. No ssd). Also is it better to use the motherboard chipset or the controller for my hdd?

Motherboard manual: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B360-G-GAMING/HelpDesk_Manual/

That means that all sata ports are controlled by the motherboard's chipset. Right?
