Yes, I know Satellite isn't the greatest, but our best is CenturyLink and we have 200kbps..so anything is better than this.
I have found three providers that allow us to use their internet. Exede, HughesNet, and potentially DirectTV.
My gripe with Exede and HughesNet is that they have Data caps, and they slow your internet down, which is utter bull. But I can't do anything about that. Bur from what I know, DirectTV doesn't have a data cap. But Exede and Hughes give us 10x the internet we have at half the price we pay. So that's a huge plus.
I plan on playing Black Ops 3 online, but 99% of the time it's solo on Zombies. And I stay on 80% of the time on CenturyLink. But everyone else is on Youtube, Facebook and Netflix. And one person can be on to watxh Netflix without interuptions every 10 seconds. Also the highest the internet can handle is 240p, but if someone else is on the internet it's 144p.
Which should we get? Also bear in mind we have a metal roof, so I don't know how that will effect us. But I've heard HughesNet is better than Exede and Dish.

HughesNet offers 10 mbps down, and 1 mb up. Exede is 12 mbps down, and 5 mbs up.
But HughesNet has lower prices, and as far as reviews go I don't know who to trust..

the metal roof will block some signal if not all. how is t-mobiles coverage in your area? for $70 you could get unlimited 4G LTE data with 3g speeds for tethering or for $95 unlimited 4G LTE data and unlimited 4G LTE tethering (On all plans, during congestion the top 3% of data users (>28GB/mo.) may notice reduced speeds until next bill cycle due to data prioritization. Video typically streams on smartphone/tablet at DVD quality (480p). Tethering at Max 3G speeds.)
