Which should i buy? Brand new i5 8400 GTX 1060 or USED GTX 1080 i7 6700

Hello guys I'm wondering which is more worth it? With the money i have right now i can buy a bnew i5 8400 and gtx 1060 with SSD,HDD, PSU and case for around $1,000. But i found a seller online selling his i7 6700 and gtx 1080 PC set with SSD, PSU case and cooler for $1100 ( no more receipt though ). Which do you think is better?

the skylake (6700)might be lil bit old now. cause intel constantly brings in new technology .

I7 6700 in a instant. the 1080 costs double the price. VERY GOOD DEAL BUY IT ASAP

Id get the 8400. It has more cores and the platform is better supported. The 1060 is much less powerfull though...if you are primarily focused on gaming then get the 6700 and 1080

I mainly do gaming and a little editing here and there

For that use the 6700 & 1080. The cpu perform similar, just the 6700 doesn’t have much of an upgrade path. However the 1080 is massively better than the 1060.

1080 100%. You are basically for that price buying the gpu and getting everything else for free
