Which should i buy depending on gaming performance ?

I want to buy a motherbored for my 7700k and i have two choices:

1. ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA
2. MSI Z270 GAMING M5


Please help which one in terms of cpu maximum support ?

That asus one is z170, so no i7 7700k support out of box.

I like ASUS as a brand, but really, you want a Z270 motherboard for full gen 7 support.
