Hello, so I plan on upgrading my memory soon to 8 Gb I'm stuck on deciding whether to just add another stick of 4 Gb DDR4 2400 Mhz, or upgrade to a newer 4x2 8 Gb DDR4 2666 Mhz set by Team Delta?

Here are my specs:
CPU: AMD A8-9600 APU
GPU: GTX 1050 Ti
Mobo: Biostar A320MH-Pro
PSU: 700w PSU (came with the case)
HDD: WD Blue 500GB

I'm also planning on upgrading to a Ryzen 5 2400G paired with an MSI B450M PRO-M2 and from what I've heard is that the RAM speed matters a lot in the Ryzen platform. Please help me on this decision and thanks for reading.

2400 vs 2666 wont make much of a difference in real time. 2400 vs 3000/3200 will make a noticeable difference. 3000/3200 mhz are the sweetspots for Ryzen performance. So either go with 3000/3200 or just add another 2400 stick if you are not ready to spend.

I actually saw a 4x2 8 Gb set of Patriot VIPER clocked at 3000 Mhz on Amazon for 59.99 USD, they ship globally, but I live in the Philippines and I have no experience in that whatsoever.
